Functionality and suitability

From office, retail and industrial new-builds to refurbishments, architects and builders are able to change the functionality of a room using Switchable Glass. For a more social aspect you can switch it “on” and the electric glass becomes transparent, or switch it “off” to create instant privacy. Listed below are some key points:

• Privacy Glass becomes ‘transparent’ once electrified.
• In its ‘opaque’, default off state Privacy Glass effectively blocks 99%+ of harmful UV rays. Plus, with the inclusion of certain glass types and/or a variety of interlayers we are able to increase the Energy Efficiency of the product.
• Our exciting range of coloured film can be incorporated into the make-up of your glass to produce an eye-catching feature that will enhance any room.
• Most clients use our Switch Glass products in doors, windows, internal partitions and as whiteboards and projection screens.
• Privacy Glass panels can be manufactured with holes, notches and in custom shapes. It can also be made Bullet Resistant, Fire Resistant or Hurricane Resistant.
